Center for Mental Health Service - The Center for Mental Health Service (CMHS), as part of the United States Department of Health and Human Services, pursues its mission by helping States improve and increase the quality and range of their treatment, rehabilitation, and support services for people with mental illness, their families, and communities. Further, it encourages a range of programs-such as systems of care-to respond to the increasing number of mental, emotional, and behavioral problems among America's children.
National Social Norms Resource Center - The National Social Norms Resource Center (NSNRC) is an independent organization that promotes the use of the social norms approach (often called the social norms marketing approach) to reducing a wide range of health, safety and justice issues.
Student health advocate - Unique to UCLA, the SHA Program, or Student Health Advocate Program, allows UCLA students with an interest in health care and public health to encourage healthy behaviors among their peers. Started in 1974, the SHA program is run by UCLA's Health Education department and is overseen by the Arthur Ashe Student Health and Wellness Center.
Health policy analysis - Health policy analysis is the process of assessing and choosing among spending and resource alternatives that affect the health care system, public health system, or the health of the general public. Health policy analysis involves several steps: identifying or framing a problem; identifying who is affected (stakeholders); identifying and comparing the potential impact of different options for dealing with the problem; choosing among the options; implementing the chosen option(s); and evaluating the impact.
